Unashamed Worship

I sometimes like to run or walk around the outside of house.   It is good exercise and I don't have to worry about getting hit by a car.

Yesterday I was walking around the house with my headphones in my ears listening to a Jason Crabb album.   The songs spoke to my heart.   These songs talk about the Lord and how He is there for us in life's most difficult times.

I could feel my heart begin to overflow with praise for the Lord Jesus and all He has done for me.  I raised my hands skyward as I walked around the outside of the house where I live.   It felt great to be able to worship the Lord and just sense His presence and peace.  He is awesome and worthy of our worship.

There were moments when I wondered if my neighbors would think I was crazy if they saw me doing this,  but I cast that thought aside and just worshiped Jesus right there.

Why do we feel ashamed to worship Jesus and testify about His saving grace?

Isn't He worthy of our praise?

I like what Psalm 141:1-2 says.  It says, "O Lord, I call to you; come quickly to me.  Hear my voice when I call to you.
My prayer is set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice."

Let us worship the Lord unashamed.

Lord,
Thank You that we can come to You in prayer and worship.
We raise our hands and bow our hearts to You O mighty King.
We humbly adore You, Creator of all things.
You are the Lord of Lords and King of Kings
You are the Master of all things.
We praise You Lord
Lead us and guide us all of our days.
Bless us Lord
We pray for strength and encouragement
In Jesus name
Amen
