The Heavens Declare

The sun is setting as I write this.  There is something beautiful and even poetic about a sunset.
The colors change from orange, red, and even some purple shades appear.  It is far better than any human artist could paint on a canvas with a brush.  Our God is very creative that is for sure.

We can even see the beauty in the stars in the sky and the galaxies.  When we look at pictures taken by space telescopes we see even more artistic looking things like galaxies, nebula, planets, and other breath taking things in space.

Thinking of all these things got me to thinking of Psalm 19:1-6 which says,

"The heavens declare the glory of God,
the skies proclaim the work of His hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

There is no speech or language where
there voice is not heard.

Their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from
his pavilion,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is hidden from its heat."

We can look all around us and see God's awesome handiwork. 

What an Awesome, Mighty God He is.

Isn't He worthy of our praise and worship?

Lord,
Thank You for the beautiful universe that You created.
The heavens do indeed declare Your glory.
Draw us nearer to You Lord and help us to appreciate all that You made.
Bless us now.
