My Helper

Sometimes the trials we face are hard.  We may feel alone and weak.

The trials we face vary from person to person.

Some problems are big some are relatively small.   Some end quickly while others last a long time.

We must remind ourselves that the Lord promises never to leave us and never forsake us.

He will always be by our side during all the moments of our lives if we are trusting in Him.

He gives us the help we need.

I like what Psalm 121 says,

"I lift my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will
not slumber;

indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you-
the Lord is your shade at
your right hand;

the sun will not harm you
by day,

nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming
and going
both now and forevermore."

When troubles come let us lift up our eyes to the Lord who is with us during the darkest of times.
We can trust Him to be there for us and with us,

Are you trusting Him to help you?

Lord,
Thank You for helping us during the trials we face.
Thank you that we are never truly alone.
Help us draw near to You, Lord.
