Give Thanks to the Lord

Sometimes we seem to get so busy with our lives that we forget to give thanks to the Lord.

We can be very ungrateful at times.  We complain about not getting what we want.  We moan and groan if something doesn't go our way.

During these times of complaining and ungratefulness we fail to realize that the Lord has been providing for our needs each and everyday.   He gives us a chance each morning when we wake up to live the day for Him.  He does this because He loves us so much.

I like what Psalm 107:1-7 says,

"Give thanks to the Lord; for
His love endures forever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say this-
those He redeemed from the hand of the foe,

those he gathered from the lands,
from east and west,
from north and south.

Some wandered in desert wastelands,
finding no way to a city
where they could settle.

They were hungry and thirsty,
and their lives ebbed away.

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble
and He delivered them from their distress.

He led them by the straight way
to a city where they could settle.

Let them give thanks to the Lord
for His wonderful deeds for men..."

Let us be thankful to the Lord for loving us, helping us, and protecting us throughout our lives.

He is an Awesome, Mighty, and Loving God.   He is worthy of our praise and adoration.

Let's give Him Thanks.

Lord,
Thank You for all that You do for us.
Thank You for salvation and forgiveness of our sins through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
We thank You for always being with us each and everyday.
In Jesus name
Amen.
