The world can be a dark and scarey place.
There is sickness. Heart ache. Suffering. Pain.
I look at people around me sometimes and I see there hopeless expressions on their faces. It makes me feel sad for them. Many don't have joy in their lives because they don't have Jesus in their lives and hearts.
Jesus knows what in everyone's heart. We don't know what is in their hearts.
I remember reading Mathew 14:13-21.
This is where Jesus went with His disciples to find a solitary place, but a crowd followed them.
Jesus looked out at the crowd and had compassion on them.
Are there people around us that need our compassion and love?
Have compassion on others and tell them about how much Jesus loves them.
Lord,
Help us to have compassion on those who are hurting and suffering through various trials.
Help us to point them to You.
