Our Frustration

Do you ever feel overwhelmed or frustrated with something or someone?  Sure you do.  We all get frustrated at some point.  I know I have especially when it comes to work.  Sometimes unfortunately my frustration is noticed by those around me and that is not good at times.

We may feel embarrassed at our lack of restraint or we may even feel weak.  We may even feel like we have let others down or even worse we may feel like we have let the Lord down.  The good news is that Lord loves us and those around us probably understand what we are going through.

We are all human beings and we all have our ups and downs.  We all have a sin nature and sometimes it surfaces in not so nice ways.  Even we believers in Jesus Christ struggle with our sin nature.  There is like a war of sorts inside of every believer in Christ.  We want to do good, but there is something dark within us lurking in the background.

The great news is that Jesus Christ forgives all of our sins when we come to Him in faith and trust Him to be our Lord and Savior.  We must come in repentance of our sins and trust in Jesus finished work on the Cross on our behalf.

The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer and He helps us in our battle with the sin in our lives.  We are saved by His Grace and we are Justified by faith in Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit continually works within every believer to make us more and more like Christ.  This is a life long journey and it will be completed when we enter Heaven and see the Lord Jesus with our very eyes.

When we get frustrated with someone or something we need to repent of our attitude and forgive that person who caused us to be frustrated.  We need to give that person to the Lord and we also need to own our own reaction and apologize and humble ourselves before the Lord.

Sometimes we fall down in our Spiritual walk, but it is the Lord that will make us stand.  We must get back up and submit to the lead of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Lord,
Forgive us when we fail You and when we get frustrated over things or people in our lives.
We are sorry for our sin.  We thank You for forgiving us our sins through Jesus Christ sacrifice on the Cross.
We praise You with uplifted hands.
In Jesus name we pray,
Amen.
