Sometimes life can seem like such a struggle for so many. A New Year has begun and new struggles may pop up. There will be challenges I am sure for each of us. Some may be small and some may be really large.
What ever the New Year holds we can rest assure that the Lord will be with us wherever we go and whatever circumstance we find ourselves in. We need to have a personal relationship with Him however and that is only available through Jesus Christ.
The Lord told Joshua a long time ago in Joshua 1:9,
"Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be terrified;
do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will
be with you wherever you go."
The Lord tells each of as well not to be terrified or discouraged. He does tells us to be strong and courageous and know that the Lord will be with us wherever we may find ourselves in life.
We may not find ourselves fighting battles with opposing armies as the Israelites did under Joshua, but we may encounter other kinds of battles. The Lord promises to be with us through our lives and one day He will take us Home to be with Him in Heaven.
Our God always keeps His promises and we can know that we can trust Him with absolute certainty.
May our hearts be filled with His love and may we worship the Lord with our entire being.
He is an Awesome loving God and He alone is worthy of all our praise.

Lord,
We thank You for always being with us throughout life. Help us to have the courage to stand up for the truth of Your Word. Lead us and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.
