Looking Foward To Heaven

The world around us seems to be falling apart in so many ways.  There is a lot of darkness and anger.  There is a lot of despair and evil.  When we look at the evening news on the television we can get very discouraged by what we see going on all around us in our world these days. 

We who are followers of Jesus Christ must remember that this world is not our Home.  We are just pilgrims passing through this world and our true Home is in Heaven with Jesus Christ.  The older I get the more I am looking forward to Heaven and being with the Lord Jesus.  It will be a great and glorious day when I will see the face of the One who died for me.

There is only one way into Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one can come to the Father unless they go through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
When we place our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross for us then we are saved.  We are not saved by our good deeds.  We are saved by grace and grace alone by faith alone.

There is coming a day when we will close our eyes in death.  Those of us who have put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ will go to Heaven to be with Him forever.  Those who have rejected His free gift of Salvation will be separated from God forever and they will be placed in a literal Hell.

I pray that my friends, my family, and everyone I know would make sure they don't miss out on Heaven when they don't have too.  The Lord Jesus Christ made a way for you to get into Heaven through His sacrifice on the Cross for your sins.  Jesus paid it all for you in order that you could spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  Please, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved today by trusting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

We have great hope in the Lord Jesus Christ.  There is a lot of pain that people go through here on earth and there will be troubles.  The Lord will see us through the difficult and trying times.  There will come a day when we will enter Heaven and be with our Lord Jesus forever and He will wipe away every tear from our eyes.

We uplift the Tweedie family to You.  I ask that You touch them and help them during this difficult trial.  We uplift all of those undergoing hard trials and troubles in life.
