The Supremacy Of Jesus Christ

There is a name that is above all other names and there is only One name that people must believe on to be saved and that is Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the only One to die for our sins.  He is the only way into Heaven.  It was Jesus who went obediently to the cross and shed His blood for our sins.  No one else could it.  I can't save myself.  You can't save yourself.  There are no amount of good works that we could possibly do in order to get into Heaven.

There is only one way into Heaven and that is trusting in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.  He is the image of the invisible God.  Jesus came as fully God and fully man.  He is the only one who was perfect and He was the only one who could die for our sins and the sins of the world.
He is the only one who could reconcile us back to God.  Sin separates us from God, but through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we are reconciled to God.  We can have peace with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We come to Him by faith and trust in His grace that He so freely gives all of us who believe in Christ Jesus and Him alone.

Colossians 1:15:23 says,

"He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
For by Him all things were created;
things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers or rulers
or authorities;

all things were created by Him and for Him.
He is before all things,
and in Him all things hold together.
And He is the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything He might have supremacy.

For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things,
whether things on the earth or things in heaven,
by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds
because of your evil behavior.
But now He has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death
to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation-

if you continue in your faith, established and firm,
not moved from the hope held out in the gospel
that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature
under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant."

Ever since Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden each one of us is born with a sin nature and we are separated from God. God out of His great love for us sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross, shedding His blood, to reconcile us back to the Father.  Jesus died for us to bring us back into a right relationship with God.

Not everyone will trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior because they want to live according to their own desires and wants.  The gift of salvation is for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  He is the only way anyone can be reconciled back to God.

We can come boldly to the throne of grace and receive forgiveness by trusting what Jesus did for us on the cross by faith.

Let us continue to walk in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and continue to trust His Amazing Grace.

It is Jesus that we need.  Let us continue to trust in Him and give Him all the praise and adoration for all He has done and is doing in our lives and in the lives of others all around us.

Lord,
We praise Your name.
You are Holy and Just in Your Judgements.
Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
