Give Thanks To The Lord

The Lord has been very good to me in my life.  I am thankful for what the Lord has done in my life and what He is doing.  Sometimes things seem to move slowly, but I know the Lord is still working on me and He is working on other things behind the scenes.  I know I need to trust Him and His direction for my life.

Sometimes we fail to give thanks to the Lord for all the great things He has done for us and is doing for us.  It seems like many people do not even voice their thanks to the Lord in the presence of other believers in Christ.  I wonder why we don't do that more. 

Psalm 107:1-3 says,

"Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good;
His love endures forever.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say this-
those He redeemed from the hand of the foe,
those He gathered from the lands,
from the east and west, from
north and south."

The Lord has been so very good to us and He is still working out things in our lives for our good.
Should we not be thankful for a great and awesome God for all He has done for us.  God loves us so very much and He demonstrated His love for us by sending His only begotten Son Jesus to die for our sins and He raised Him from the dead to show that He is God.  He ascended to Heaven and is at the Father's right hand.  He didn't leave us to go about on our own, but He gave us the Holy Spirit to dwell with in all of us who believe on Jesus Christ for salvation. 

He loves us so much.  His love endures forever.  Shouldn't we thank Him more. 

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

Lord,
We just want to say thank You for the great things You are doing in our lives.
We are sorry that we don't say it enough at times.
Lead us and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.
