Telling Others About Jesus

The world seems like a very angry place nowadays.  People on one side are angry with people on the other side and vice versa.  No one can seem to agree on anything.  Worse of all if you can't seem to have your own opinion without someone getting angry and not want to speak to you ever.  Has the world descended into immaturity?  Has everyone become like children all of a sudden?

Whatever happened to a nice civil debate without hate?  What happened to a logical calm conversation?  Remember those days when we didn't have to text message, email, or Facebook someone to get to talk to them.  I think it is nice to talk to someone face to face.  I may be a quiet man, but I do like a nice conversation with substance.  I must admit these days those kind of conversations are rather hard to find.

There are many people in our world today that need someone to talk to them.  There are many who are lonely and facing incredible hard times.  There are many people in our families and in our communities who need to hear about the Lord Jesus Christ and how He can change their lives.  People need to hear about the change that Jesus has made in your life.

We believers in Jesus Christ have a mission field that the Lord has dropped us in and it is our responsibility to allow our light to shine in this dark world drawing people to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

There will come a time when it will be too late for us to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I am fearful that day will come sooner than we want to believe.  One Day the Lord Jesus Christ will return at His Second Coming and people need to be ready.

Let us love others by telling them about Jesus Christ in a caring way.  Let us show them the love of Jesus by offering to pray for them right where they are.  The Lord will help us to be a witness for Him if we ask Him to help us.

Lord,

Thank You for Your love and Mercy.

Help us to love others by telling them about Jesus.

Lead us and guide us.

Come soon Lord Jesus.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.
