Trusting In The Lord During Our Trials

Sometimes we feel anxious about the things that are going on in our lives and in the lives if those we love.  There are many things that can cause us to worry and fret.  We all face troubles and challenges as we walk the road of life.  Jesus tells us that in this world we will indeed have troubles, but He also reminds us that He is the One who has over come the world.

We can trust in the Lord who leads us through the deepest and darkest valleys that we face.  Let's face it we all go through times of testing.  There will be good times and there will be really tough times.  There will be times when we wonder if we will live to see tomorrow.  There will be times when our hearts will feel like they have been shattered into a billion pieces. 

We must take heart and remember that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will stick by us through the most difficult of times.  The Lord promises us in His Word that He will never leave us and He will never forsake us.  We can count on the Lord to see us through if we just trust Him.

God never promises us an easy life.  Life can be hard and sometimes we will encounter things that we can not handle in our own strength.  It is during those times that the Lord is teaching us to lean upon Him.   We have a choice on how we handle the trials that we face.  We can allow trials to make us bitter or we can allow them to make us better.  What I mean is we can allow the troubles to shipwreck our faith and crumble into despair or we can allow those hard times to be moments when our faith in the Lord is strengthened. 

The best moments to strengthen our faith in the Lord is in those times of adversity and hardship.  The Lord will use these trials to train us and help us grow in our faith in Him.  Sometimes these test and trials are painful,  but we must persevere for the Lord will see us through them if we just have faith in Him and trust Him.  The Lord knows what He is doing.  We can trust Him because we know that He loves us.

Let us continue to trust in the Lord when trials come to us. 



Lord,

Sometimes life seems so hard and difficult,  but we trust You to see us through.

We praise Your name

For You are the same yesterday, today, and forever more.

You are God and You are Holy.

Lead us and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.

We draw near to You O Lord our God.
