What An Awesome God!

Sometimes it is all too easy to find something to worry about these days.  We look at everything happening in our world today and we can find plenty of things to feed our anxiety.  We are an anxious people.  We are living in anxious times.

The Lord tells us in His Word, the Bible, that we are not to worry about our lives.  Sometimes we forget that we belong to the Lord and we slip into a mode of worry and fear.  It seems all to easy to be afraid.

Sometimes we are afraid to try something new because of a past rejection.  Sometimes fear and worry prevent us from doing what the Lord wants us to do.  We need to remind ourselves that if God wants us to do something He will equip us to do the task.  The Lord will make a way for us when there seems to be no way.

When we start to worry and feel anxiety knocking at the door of our hearts we need to take a step back and look at all the Lord has created.  When we listen to the birds singing so sweetly in the trees and we realize how God takes such good care of them.  We should also realize that God will take even more care of us because we are made in His image.

We can look at the beautiful flowers that grow in the fields and on the roadside and we can know that the God that put some much care in making such a beautiful thing as a flower will also take great care of us because of His great love for us.

The Creator of the entire Universe loves you with a great unconditional love.  God demonstrated His great love for us by sending Jesus Christ into this world to die for our sins and God raised Him to life on the third day.

We need not to worry about things that we can't control because if we have placed our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and made Him our Lord and Savior then He holds us in the very palm of His hand and He will never let us go.  What an Awesome God!

Lord, Heavenly Father,
We praise You this day.
Thank You Lord for this wonderful day that You made.
Bless us this night and the day ahead.
Lead us and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
