God Is Bigger Than Our Trials

Sometimes the trials and troubles that we go through seem so very big that we feel we just can't handle them.  Sometimes we may feel like we will be crushed to powder.  There are things that come against us that will indeed test our faith.  There will be times when we just feel overwhelmed by all the trouble that is going on in our lives and in the lives of those all around us.

The Lord Jesus told us and His disciples that in this world we will have trouble.  There are a lot of people in our world that are experiencing troubling times.  We all experience trouble at some point in our walk with the Lord.  Sometimes the troubling situation only last for a little while, but sometimes they may last until the Lord takes us Home to Heaven to be with Him.

The Lord promises that He will walk with us through the deepest and darkest of valleys.  He will even be with us through the valley of the shadow of death.  We are living in scary and uncertain times.  There is great turmoil going on in our world these days.  There are many who are facing illness.  There are some facing terrible trials of addiction.  There are many who are hungry and many who are homeless.  Many people struggle with anxiety and depression.

Whatever we find ourselves going through the Lord promises to be with us through those things if we just trust Him.  We can trust the Lord.  He promises us in His Word that He will be with us always even until the end of the age.

We who have trusted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us and He will comfort us and lead us.  We must submit to His lead and His authority.

God is bigger than any trial that we face.  We need to remind ourselves of that sometimes.  The Lord is greater that the biggest trial that we will even face here on the earth.  The trial may seem long and it may seem like it will never end, but one day the trial will end.  It may not be quick or easy.  There may be hurts and pains during it, but eventually it will end.

The trial may not end until we are Home with Jesus in Heaven where He will wipe away every tear and there will be no more death.

Lord, Heavenly Father,
We praise Your Holy Name.
Thank You for always being with us during our trials.
Thank You for the promises that You make to us in Your Holy Word.
Lead us and comfort it us through Your Word and Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
