God Is Good

Here I sit staring at my computer screen trying to think of what I should write about in today's blog entry.

I can hear the rain hitting against the air conditioner.  Everything else seems quiet and peaceful,

The world today doesn't seem very peaceful at all.

Violence seems to be an increasing norm according to the television news.

Immoral behavior seems to be everywhere as well.

Things seems to be going down hill at a very speedy clip.

People are wondering what is going on.

Those answers aren't easy to come up with.

There is definitely something very wrong that much is clear.

When a nation decides to push God out of schools, out of government, and out of every facet of life do we expect that there will be no consequences for our actions?

Maybe the problem stems from a heart problem in our nation and in each individual.

We have forgotten who we are.

We are people made in the image of Almighty God.

We are deeply loved by our creator.

He made us who we are and we can not change that no matter how hard we try.

God doesn't make mistakes.

He wants you to love Him.

He doesn't want anyone to perish and spend eternity in Hell.

God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for your sins.  Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Do you want to change your nation?

Pray for your nation and your leaders.

Tell others about Jesus.

Read the Bible.

Life is getting hard and it will no doubt get harder as time goes on.

Christians will face more persecution as time goes on.

We must stand firm in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:28 says,

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

The things that happen to us won't always be good, but God can use those things for our good.

We must remember no matter what we are going through.

No matter what hardship.

No matter the trial.

God is good.

He is always good all the time.

And all the time,

God is good.

We can trust Him with our lives.

Do you trust Him?

Lord,
Thank You for always being good to us.
We pray for our nation and out leaders.
We pray for people's hearts to be open to Your love for them.
We pray for a call of National repentance.
Revive Us O Lord.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
