My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims and those injured and the people of France.
Our world is standing in the need of prayer. We appear to be heading down a dark road.
These are turbulent times in which we are living.
We who are believers in Christ should not despair in hopelessness because we have true hope.
Our hope is built upon our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He is our hope. He is the hope of the entire world.
We should be concerned at what is going on in the world, but we shouldn't lose sight of who Jesus is.
Sometimes that can be easier said than done.
When things are going well for us it is easy to serve the Lord and trust Him.
It is when life gets harsh and difficult that is when our faith is truly put to the test.
Many Christians today are experiencing true test of faith in Christ.
He is my hope and I hope He is your hope also.
This hope is not the wishful thinking hope that world has.
The hope I am talking about is a sure thing.
Jesus died for our sins on the cross, He rose from the dead, and one day He will return.
One day all of those who are trusting in Him will see Him as He is in Heaven and we will be with Him for all of eternity.
There will be no more sickness, no pain, no sin, no death, and no taxes.
God always keeps His promises.
God is always good even when life knocks us down.
The Lord cares for you, please don't forget that.
He loves you very much.
I Peter 5:6-7 says,
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He
may lift you up in due time.
Cast all you anxiety on Him because
He cares for you."
The Lord wants to hear from you.
He wants you and I to bring those cares we carrying around in our hearts to Him in prayer.
He wants us to voice our concerns to Him.
He wants to hear about our hurts and pain.
He wants to help us through the trials we face because He cares for us.
Aren't you glad that we have a God who cares about us?
I am glad He cares for us and loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son Jesus to this earth to save us from our sins.
We should thank Him and praise Him for that.
I Peter 5:8-11 says,
"Be self controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around
like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith,
because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing
the same kind of sufferings.
And the God of all grace,
who called you to His eternal glory in Christ,
after you have suffered a little while,
will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
To Him be the power for ever and ever.
Amen."
We must remember that the devil is our enemy and he is running around trying to stir up trouble
because he knows that his days are numbered and his time is running out.
We need to resist the devil and stand firm in Jesus Christ.
Believers in Christ are going through difficult times all over the world some much worse than others.
There are many Christians in our world today that are facing terrible persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ.
We must continue to pray for them.
We must stand strong in our faith in Jesus.
Lets love Him more and love others as He loves us so much.
Lets spread the love of Christ to others by telling them the Gospel message.
God is so good.
Don't forget that.
Don't forget that He loves you and He cares for you.
Whatever you are going through in your life I would encourage you to get alone with God and have your Bible open and just talk to Him.
Make sure you also take time to listen to what He has to say as well.
Cast your cares upon Jesus.
He cares for you.
May the Lord bless you as you walk with Him.
Lord,
Holy is Your name.
Thank You for You love and amazing Grace.
I lift up to You the people of France who were hurt and lost loved ones during an attack that happened there.
I uplift those who are suffering with various trials.
I pray for a fresh faith in our lives.
Revive us O Lord.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
