Are You Going To Heaven?

There are probably many people around us that would answer yes to the question, Are you going to Heaven when you die?

The world is becoming a more dangerous place to live each and everyday. 

That means that we should know where we are going to spend eternity when we die.

None of us are guaranteed tomorrow.  Our lives could be over in an instant.

I don't want to cause alarm, but I want to get you thinking about this because it is very important.

If you answered yes to the question I asked at the beginning of the post then allow me to ask the follow up question, why are you going to Heaven?

Many people say that they are going to Heaven because they are good, go to Church, or have been baptized.

First of all none of those things will get you into Heaven.

There is none who are good.  There was only one perfect man ever to live on the earth and that was Jesus Christ and He is the Son of the Living God.

There are no good works that we can do to make our way into Heaven.

We can not earn our way into Heaven based on anything we have done.

We are all deserving of eternal separation from God in a literal place called Hell.

People don't go to Hell for being bad.

They go there because they have rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to live a perfect sinless life on the earth. 

He went obediently to the cross and shed His blood dying for our sins.

We must receive what Jesus did for us on the cross and make Him our Lord and Savior.

He is the only way into Heaven because He is the only One that died for our sins.

If you think you are going to Heaven based on your good works then I am sorry to say that you are wrong, but it is not to late to come to the Lord Jesus and receive Him and His gift of salvation.

Romans 10:9 says,

"That if you confess with your mouth,

"Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart

that God raised Him from the dead,

you will be saved."

We must realize that we are sinners and we need a Savior.

I can't save my self.

I am not good enough to enter Heaven based on my good deeds and I never will be.

I was invited to Church and given a Bible to read when I was 28 years old.

After reading and listening to the Pastor Art Meyers, who was thePastor at the Church at the time,

I realized I was a sinner and if I died in my sin I would go to Hell for all eternity.

I felt convicted by the Holy Spirit of my sin and I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I am going to Heaven when I die based on what Jesus Christ did for me on the cross.

I am not perfect.  I am just an unworthy servant of the Lord.

I am saved by His Grace and His Grace alone.

Sometimes I stumble and fall, but I know that my Jesus paid it all for me and for you too.

He died for my sins past, present, and future.

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

I pray that you have or will soon before it is to late.

Don't put off that decision because you may not live to see another tomorrow.

This is a very important choice you must make.

Please, do not take this lightly.

The Lord Jesus is coming one day soon or we may go to see and stand before Him.

If we are trusting in His sacrifice for our sins and trust in Him alone then we will enter in Heaven for all eternity, but if we have rejected Him and His payment for our sin then we will be rejected and sent to Hell for all eternity.

Time is short.  The days are getting very dangerous.

Come to the Lord Jesus.

He loves you.

He doesn't want you to go to Hell forever.

That is why He came to earth to shed His blood for your sins and mine.

Jesus paid it all for you.

All you have to do is receive and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Come boldly to the throne of Grace.

Just ask Him to forgive you in prayer right now and receive Him as your Lord and Savior.

We thank You for forgiving us our sins through the shed blood of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for saving a wretch like me O Lord.

We can't earn our way into Heaven by doing good things.

We can only come by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Thank You Jesus for making a way for us to be in Heaven with You.

Praise the Lord!
