Always Pray And Don't Give Up

There are times in our lives when things can get really tough and difficult.  We may even feel like giving up or throwing in the towel.

We may get discouraged with our jobs and want to quit.  We may be fed up with someone in our lives and want to walk away from the whole situation.

Life can be hard and challenging.

We must remember that the Lord Jesus promised us that He will always be with us until the very end.
He promises never to leave us nor forsake us.

We can trust Him because He is always true to His word.  People sometimes fail us, but the Lord will never fail us.  We can count on Him to always be there even when others aren't.

There will be times when our faith is tested.  Trials do come to all of us at one time or another.

We must hold on to the Lord Jesus and keep focused on Him.

He is the author and finisher of our faith.

We can call out to Him in prayer at anytime and no matter where we are.

He is always there waiting to hear from His children.  He is always willing to answer as well.

His answer may not always be yes.  Sometimes He answers no and sometimes He tells us to wait.

He always answers prayer in accordance to His will and not ours.

We should always pray and not give up.

That is just what Jesus said to His disciples when He told them a parable about the Persistent Widow.

We can find that in Luke 18:1-8 which says,

"Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not

give up.

He said:

"In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men.

And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to Him with the plea, "Grant me justice

against my adversary."

For some time he refused.  But finally he said to himself, "Even though I do not fear God or

care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice,

so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!"

And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says.

And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night?

Will He keep putting them off?

I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly.

However, when the Son of Man comes,  will He find faith on the earth?"

The Lord is not like the unjust judge.  He does not need to be badgered until He gives in.

The Lord wants us to come to Him and He wants us to be persistent in prayer.

He doesn't want us to give up.

We the going gets tough we must keep going to Jesus.

We must keep our faith in Him for He is our hope in every and all circumstances.

He will see us through to the very end.

Keep crying out to the Lord in prayer and wait for His answer.

Wait on the Lord and keep praying to Him.

He will answer according to His will.

Do we believe that He is able to do all things no matter how difficult things may seem?

Sometimes our faith seems so very small.  We get tired.  We get weary.

We get discouraged.

The good news is that God doesn't get tired.

He is not weary at all.

He is not one bit surprised at what you are going through.

He knows your burdens.  He knows your pain and suffering.

He wants to help you through this difficulty and He is waiting to hear from you this very day.

He is only a prayer away.

Why not call out to the Lord right now, right where you are.

Don't be ashamed to call out to the Lord.

He wants to hear from you.

When Jesus comes back will He find you praying and calling out to Him in faith?

The days are getting tougher and they will get worse until the Lord comes.

We must not lose heart.

We must not lose faith in Jesus.

One day He will come and take us home to Heaven to be with Him for all eternity.

He is our hope.  He is our joy. He is our peace.

He is our Lord and Savior.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins and He rose to life showing us that He is truly the Son of the living God.

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We come to Him, repenting of our sin and trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

He died on the cross for us.  He loves us.

We can trust Him to answer our prayers.

He also gives the Holy Spirit to all those who believe in Him.

The Holy Spirit helps us to pray when we are not sure what to say.

Let us keep calling out to the Lord Jesus and trust Him.

Lord,
We love You.
Thank You for loving us even when we are not very lovable.
Thank You that we can come to You in prayer, anytime, anywhere.
We praise Your name.
Thank You for answering our prayers.
Help us to pray through Your Holy Spirit.
Come quickly Lord.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
