Living For The Lord

The world is slipping deeper into darkness day by day.  The devil is busy running around stirring up trouble because he knows his time is running out.  The Lord Jesus Christ is about to return very soon to judge the living and the dead.  We who are believers in Jesus Christ need to be living for Him and warning others of the Lord's coming so they can be ready as well.

It is so very important that we are ready for the Lord's return.  God is definitely moving in our world today and He is still calling people out of darkness and into His marvelous light.  There are many however who have compromised their belief in the Lord and are living like the world.  The Lord will deal with them. 

We must come out of the world and start living for the Lord Jesus Christ so others might see our good works and give glory to the Lord our God.  We know that we all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.  We can't save ourselves.  There is not one of us that is good enough to get into Heaven on our own.  The Lord demonstrated His love for us by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect sinless life here on the earth.  Jesus went to the Cross and laid down His life for each of us.  Jesus shed His blood for our sins and for the entire worlds.

We must realize that we are sinners and we must be willing to repent of our sins.   We must come to the Lord in prayer and confess our inability to save ourselves.  We then must trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Whoever calls on the Lord will be saved. 

There is hope for us because of what Jesus Christ has done for us.  Jesus took the punishment that you and I so rightly deserve.  I am not good enough to earn my way into Heaven by my good works.  I am weak in my flesh and I fail the Lord daily.  I am thankful that Jesus died in my place and He has shown my great mercy and grace.  

We must humble ourselves before the Lord and allow Him to live through us by His Holy Spirit.

Let us live each day for the Lord and tell others about His saving grace before it is too late.

Lord,

Thank You for loving us so much that You sent Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for our sins.

Help us to speak up for what is right.

Forgive us when we are silent.

Let Your light shine through us into this world of darkness.

Help us to tell others about Jesus so they can be ready for His coming back.

Come soon Lord Jesus.
