When life seems hard and difficult it hard for us to stay focused upon the Lord. Sometimes our problems seem very overwhelming and we feel like we are drowning in a sea of despair. There are times when we wonder if anyone cares for us. We wonder if this burden we are carrying will ever be resolved.
We may feel alone and isolated from others. We may wonder if anyone understands the pain we feel. It is very easy to become cynical and angry when we look at the world around us. It is easy to feel anxious and depressed. There are many people in our world today who are struggling with depression and anxiety. They feel as if there is a dark cloud over them that never seems to go away. They feel alone and afraid they will always be alone.
It is interesting to think that with all the means of communication that we have nowadays that people would still have the feeling of being lonely. It seems however that the more technology increases the less people seem to talk to one another face to face. Our society seems to be missing the ability to build relationships. Many people seem to never smile or laugh anymore. There is a lot of angry and distrust.
Things may seem terribly bleak and hopeless. I would like to remind you that there is still a God who loves you. God is real and He is alive. The Lord God created the Heavens and the earth and everything in them. He created human beings. He spoke everything into existence and He is the One who is in control.
There are times when we wonder what God is up to. We wonder if He is indeed in control, but we must remember that He knows the beginning to the end. The Lord can see the big picture. We can only see a small part of what is going on, but God knows all things. The Lord is not surprised by anything that comes our way. He even promises to be with us each step of the way when we put our faith and trust in Him.
He will never leave us and He will never forsake us. We may have to walk through a very dark and lonesome valley. We may have to walk it alone from a human perspective, but in reality the Lord will walk it with us and He will even carry us at times.
The Lord wants us to trust in Him in all things. We can trust in Him for salvation and forgiveness of sins that is only available through Jesus Christ. Jesus saved us by dying for our sins. He shed His blood on the Cross for you and I. What a Savior! God raised Jesus up from the dead and one day Jesus will return.
The Lord has done so much for us and He will continue to help us. The Lord is still at work in our lives. He may be quiet right now. We may not sense His presence in our lives like we used too. We may be filled with fear and sorrow. We must continue to reach out to the Lord in prayer. We need to call out to Him in our moments of despair. He will hear us and He will answer.
Let us lay down our burdens at the feet of Jesus and leave them there. Let us cast our cares upon the Lord knowing that He cares for us. Jesus loves you. Trust Him and He will see you through your trial.
It is important for us to continue to read the Bible and study it as well. It is important for us to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. God wants to use us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is our Rock and He is our Solid Foundation. The Lord cannot be moved. Our God is all powerful and all knowing. We must remember that all things are possible with our God. We can count on Him to help us in our times of dire need.
We must remember who God is. It is important for us to know God and we also must learn more about Him. The Lord wants us to know Him better and He wants us to trust Him more. Sometimes our faith seems small and our trust in Him seems to fade. We must continue to cling to the Lord and trust Him and believe that He is still working out all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
God is good and He is always good. There is only one God and He is the God of the Holy Bible. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God exists in three persons, The Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, but He is still One God.
God loves us so very much and we must remember that. He demonstrated He love for us by sending Jesus. The Lord is always right by our side through the good times and also the tough times. He has never failed us and we can trust that He will not fail us during our times of trial.
When we are facing trials we must refocus our eyes upon Jesus. We need to cling to the Lord and trust Him.
Lord,
Thank You for loving us and always being with us.
Help us draw nearer to You.
May You receive all the Glory and Praise.
In Jesus name,
Amen.
