Power in the Blood

The world can be a dark and scary place at times.  There seems to be a lot of anger and hatred.  There is just something just not right going on in the world today.  The thing is most people have a sense that there is something indeed going on, but most people have no idea just what exactly is going on.

Many people have tried to push God out of their lives and they have tried to push God out of every facet of life throughout our world.  They can try as hard as they can to push God out of our world. but the good news is that even though many will try to try to get rid of Him, God is not going anywhere. 

The Lord is still at work in our world today.  He is still working miracles.  Jesus still saves.  The Lord still has faithful believers in Him who continue to pray and act as His hands and feet in our world today.  God is not dead.  God is not asleep.  God is alive.

Sometimes it seems like many believer's faith has dried up and I confess sometimes it feels like my faith is a little dry at times.   When that happens we need to turn to the Lord and seek Him more.
We need to read our Bibles and be doers of His Word and not just casual hearers of it.   The Lord has given we who have trusted Christ as our Savior the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. 

We need to submit to the lead of the Holy Spirit and we need to trust Him.   The Lord loves us so very much and He wants everyone to know how they can be reconciled back to Him through Jesus Christ.  There are people all around us that need to know the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.

We believers in Jesus Christ have hope.  There is still hope for the world.  They too can find hope in Jesus Christ.   God demonstrated His great love for people by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus to this world.  Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life.  He then went obediently to the Cross where He shed His blood for each one of us.  He died for the whole world's sin.  Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and I.  He took our sins upon Himself.  He took the punishment that we so rightly deserve.

Jesus made a way to have forgiveness of our sins and to have an eternal Home in Heaven.   We must come to Jesus by faith and trust in Him as our Lord and Savior.  We need to come to Him realizing that we are sinners and that we can't save ourselves no matter how hard we may try.  There are no amount of good works that can get us into Heaven.  

There is only one way into Heaven and that is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  There is still power in the blood of Jesus Christ.  It is through the blood of Christ that our sins are made white as snow. 

I can't save myself.  I am not good enough.  I am a wretched sinful man that needs a savior.  I need Jesus.  I came to Jesus Christ back in 2004.  I started attending Church after I was invited by someone.  I started reading the Bible.  I realized that I wasn't as good as I though I was.  I wasn't good enough to get into Heaven on my own accord and actually no one is.  I confessed to the Lord my need for Him in my life and I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

It is only by the shed blood of Christ that I am saved and I am headed to Heaven one day.  The offer of salvation is open to everyone, but you must come to Jesus to receive it.  You must come through the blood.   We are saved by His grace and we must come to Him in faith.

There is still power in the blood of Jesus Christ.  Come to Jesus before it is too late for you.  If you are already a believer I urge you to thank the Lord for what He has done for you and live for Him.  Tell others about the wonderful love of Jesus.

Lord,
Thank You that there is still power in the blood of Jesus Christ.
We praise Your Holy name.
I pray that may people will come to faith in Jesus Christ and have their sins forgiven because they put their trust in His finished work on the Cross for them.
Bless us Lord and lead us according to Your will.
