Does God Care About Me?

We sometimes wander through life and at times the question may arise in our minds and hearts, "Does anyone care about me?"  Maybe you are like me and have wondered about that sometimes.  The world can seem like a very dark and lonely place.  It is also a fast pace world and if one is not careful things can pass us by and leave us in the dust.  There is so much new technology coming at us all the time and things change from what seems to be a day to day basis.

There are so many ways that we can communicate with each other nowadays that it is almost mind blowing.  We can get on our computers or even our smart phones and contact someone on the other side of the world is we wanted to.  It is interesting however that many people feel lonely and unattached to people.  If you are like me you want to connect to people and form relationships, but their just seems to be some weird wall in the way that prevents us from connecting to others around us.  Perhaps it is our insecurities or feelings that people just aren't interested in what we want to say.  Maybe people just seem to avoid us for no apparent reason.

There does seem to be a communication break down in our society and even within the body of Christ.  We fail to reach out to our communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We fail to show the love of Jesus to those around us in our everyday lives.  Don't get me wrong.  Believers in Christ do a lot of great things in trying to get the message out to those around us, but there is always room to do more.  We just must realize that it will not be accomplished in our own strength and our own power.  It may not be accomplished in our own time frame.  Whatever it is we set to do must be done in the power of the Holy Spirit and it must be surrendered to God.  We can do that by praying for the Lord's direction and asking Him what it is He wants to accomplish through us for His Glory, Honor, and Praise.  Whatever we do must be done for Jesus.

We need to learn to love those outside our Church walls and in order to show that love we must know the love of Jesus in our hearts.  We also need to love other believers in Christ.  Do we really love the people sitting in the pew next to us?  That is probably not a question that we ask ourselves very much or have even thought about.   Are we showing God's love to others?

These are very tough questions that we must ask ourselves,  but they are questions that each of us need to answer and reflect on.  There is another question that we find ourselves asking at times especially when life seems to drag us done and we feel like the world is collapsing all around us.
The question is, "Does God care about me?"

Well first of all you would have to agree in order to ask this question you must believe that God does exist because if you didn't believe He existed then you wouldn't really care if he cared for you at all.  There is indeed a God.  He is the Creator of all things seen and unseen.  The most important thing to remember is that God does love you with a deep unconditional love.  He knows your heart.  He knows your struggles.  He knows your sin.  There is nothing that God does not know about you and me and He loves us anyway.  God does care for you and He wants to have a relationship with you.

When others seem to shy away from you or even cast you away remember that the Lord wants you to know Him and He is always ready to listen to you.  Sometimes it may be hard for us to talk to people or even find someone that is willing to listen or someone that really cares about us.  God cares and He is only a prayer away from us.

Let us love one another and let us love the Lord Jesus because He loved us first and He cares for us.

Lord,
Thank You for caring for us so very deeply.
Thank You for Your love.
Help us to love those all around us.
Bless us now O Lord
In Jesus name,
Amen.
