Trusting Jesus In Troubling Times

There are many people in our world today that are hurting.  Many are going through difficult times.  Some are suffering with cancer.  Many have lost a loved one.  Everyone around us is going through something, has gone through something, or will very soon go through something.  The Lord Jesus told His disciples and us that in this world we will have trouble.

He also reminds us that He has overcome this world and that we should take heart in that.  The Lord Jesus came to the earth to live a perfect and sinless life.  Jesus died on a cruel rugged Cross for our sins.  The Lord Jesus rose from the dead on the third day proving to us that He is truly God.

We may suffer many things in this life.  We may have to go through many trials and many storms.  We may struggle, but we must remember that there is hope in Jesus Christ.  When we come and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior our sins are forgiven.  We also have the promise of eternal life in Heaven with Jesus when our lives here on earth are over.

That is great news for all believers in Jesus Christ.  That should fill us with joy and praise.  The Lord is worthy of all of our praise and adoration.

There are people all around us that need to hear of the hope that is in us. They need to hear about Jesus Christ. 

Lord, Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the hope that You give to us through Jesus Christ.

We praise Your Name.

Lord, We uplift those struggling with cancer and other illnesses.

I uplift those who are angry and have no joy in their hearts.

I pray for those who are lost and need You.

I pray for my co-workers to come to know You Lord.

Help me to be a better witness for You O Lord.

Lead us a guide us by Your Spirit.

In Jesus name we pray,
