Our Help Comes From The Lord

There will be times in life when we need help.  Times are tough and things seem to get tougher the longer we walk this earthly journey.  The Lord promises to be our helper during our times of need.  The Lord promises never to leave us or forsake us. 

He will be with us in the good times and He will be with us in those horrible life altering moments where we feel that we just need help to stand.  The Lord promises us in His Word that He will make us stand in those most difficult moments in life.  He will be our strength and our shield.

We are very weak and totally helpless in our own power.  The Lord can and will empower us with the strength that we need to carry on.  He will enable us to accomplish His will.  When we are looking for help we must first look to the Lord for that is ultimately where our help truly comes from.

I am reminded of Psalm 121 which says,

"1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?

When life has you pushed in a corner and you feel at the end of your rope I would encourage you to turn to the Lord for help.  Call out to Him in your time of need and trust Him to help you.  The Lord is the True Living God and all things are possible with Him.

We are fast approaching Easter and we remember all that Jesus did for us on the Cross.  We rejoice and praise His Holy Name.  Praise the Lord for He is good.  

Let us be thankful for all that the Lord has done for us and all that He continues to work out in our lives.  The Lord gives everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit to indwell them.  The Holy Spirit will help us during our walk here on the earth.  He will provide us with the power we need to continue on.

Lord,

Thank You that You are our helper.

We turn to You for help in our time of need.

We praise Your Holy Name.

Lead us and guide us.
