Jesus Understands

There will be times in life when we feel alone and that no one understands us or what we are going through.  We all have gone through things that try our faith.  We have all faced trials at one time or another.  There is not one of us that is immune to trouble.  Jesus told us that in this world we would have trouble and He was right.  We must also remember what else He said.  He tells us not to lose heart for He has overcome the world.

Jesus knows what we are going through even when no one else understands.  Jesus came to earth to dwell among us.  He came to this earth to live as a human being.  Jesus was fully man and fully God.  The Lord endured and experienced what is like to be like you and I.  Jesus understands.

There is nothing that you and I have gone through that Jesus doesn't comprehend.  The Lord was tempted yet He never gave into that temptation.  Jesus never sinned.  We sin.  We stumble and fall.  We make mistakes.  Jesus didn't.

Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life.  We can't.  Jesus went to the Cross and died for our sins.  He died for my sins, your sins, and for the sins of the entire human race.  Then He conquered the grave by rising from the dead on the third day.  Jesus is now at the right hand of the Father interceding in prayer for us.

Jesus paid the price for our sins.  He took the punishment that you and I deserve.  Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.  We must confess our sins to Him and come to Him with a humble heart.  We need to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior in order to be saved.  We are saved, not by works, but by grace through faith.  Our faith will be shown by the works that the Lord provides for us to do for Him.

Jesus loves us and He wants everybody to come to Him.  He doesn't desire that anyone should perish, but that everyone come to repentance of their sins and receive the free gift of salvation through His precious shed blood on the Cross.

When we feel alone and we feel that no one understands our suffering and pain.  We can know that Jesus knows all about suffering and pain.  Jesus understands what we are going through.  We can go to Him in prayer with our concerns and know that He cares for us and He will help us in our time of need.

Lord,
Sometimes it feels like no one understands what we are going through.
Thank You that You understand everything.
Thank You for taking care of us and thank You for loving us.
Lead us and guide us by Your Holy Spirit.
