We believers in the Lord Jesus Christ must be a people of prayer. Our world is an ever increasingly dark place. There is much despair and hopelessness being felt by many people. The world is in need of our prayers.
The Lord Jesus always found time to pray. If Jesus felt it was so important to go to the Father in prayer we should do so even more. The Lord wants to hear from His children. The Lord will answer our prayers according to His will. He may not answer our prayer the way we thin it should be answered. He may answer yes, no, or wait, but He will give an answer.
There are many people who are lonely this time of the year because they are missing loved ones that have passed. Many people are alone and lonely. There are many who need our prayers because they are going through hardships and suffering with various trials.
People living in war torn countries need our prayers. There are people who are suffering with illnesses who need our prayers. I have heard about a very young child that needs our prayers this very night.
Let us be of one accord and call out to the Lord our God for those who are hurting. Let call out to the Lord that people from all over our world will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and make Him their Lord and Savior.
There are many people in need of the Lord's touch this very day. There are many people that are coming into our thoughts right now that we need to pray for. May we call out to the Lord in prayer and never give up.
Lord,
We come to You for You alone are God and the only One we can come to with our concerns and we know that You will answer.
We pray for those who are lonely this time of the year. We lift up to You those who are in war torn countries, those who are facing illnesses, those who have lost loved one, and those who are facing other trials in life.
Lord we pray for the spread of the Gospel throughout our communities and our world.
Lead us and guide us to pray and call out to You more.
