God Is Always Good

Sometimes things just don't work out the way we think they should.  Let's face it we like being in control of our lives and we think we know what is best for us, but guess what?  We aren't in control and we don't always know what is best for us. 

The Lord knows exactly what we need and when we need it.  We aren't even in total control of our lives either.  We have no idea what tomorrow may bring.  The Lord does though.  He knows our beginning and our end.  If we are trusting in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we will be welcomed into Heaven to be with the Lord for all eternity.  We don't know when that day will be, but the Lord knows exactly when that day will be.

That shouldn't scare us as believers in Christ.  That should give us encouragement knowing that God is waiting for us to be with Him for all eternity because we have come to trust Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the Cross.

Sometimes we hit rough patches in life.  We get sick.  We get into financial trouble.  The list could go on and on.  Life can treat us very badly and sometimes we have no one to blame but ourselves.
Even when everything seems bad we can know that God is still good.

God is always good no matter what is going on in our lives.  We could be facing the absolute worst day of our lives, but God is still a good loving God and He has our best interest in mind.  God cares for us and He loves us.

We may not understand why He allows certain things to come into our lives.  We may never completely understand what He is doing in our lives, but we can know that He is working out all things for our good because He is a good God.

Our health may fail.  The check book may be empty.  Our car may break down.  We may be at the end of our rope.  The Lord will see us through all of the tough times.

God is still a good God.  He is always good.

One day He will welcome us Home into Heaven with His arms held opened wide ready to give us the best hug ever and then He will say, "Welcome Home my child!"

What a great day that will be when we will see the Lord face to face and be warmed by His sweet embrace.

Lord,
We praise Your name.
Thank You for being a good God.
We love You Lord.
Lead us and guide us through out our lives.
I pray for all of those who are sick and facing various trials in live.
Help us to remain focused on You O Lord.
