Taking Time to Be Still

Our lives are busy.

We run from one appointment to the next.

We may find it hard to relax.

We may even feel spiritually drained.

The Lord doesn't want us stressed out all the time.   He wants us to be filled with His love, joy, peace, and hope so we can be His light in this increasingly dark world.

We need to set aside some time each day to open our Bible and just sit in the Lord's presence.

This reminds me of Psalm 46:10 which says,

"Be Still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."

Are we talking time to be still and know that He is God?

Lord,
Sometimes we feel stressed and spiritually drained.  Please refresh us by Your Holy Spirit.   Thank you for Your presence in our lives.
