Trust Jesus On The Path Of Life

Sometimes life's path can seem rather hard to navigate and the journey can seem extremely long and hard.  There are many things that we will encounter throughout life.  Some good and some bad.  Sometimes the storms of life will assail us and we will be tossed back and forth like a small boat on a stormy sea.  There will be times of great joy and there will be times when we feel discouraged and want to give up.

There will be times when we will question ourselves and we may even wonder what exactly God is up to in our lives.  The good news is that the Lord is still at work in our lives even though sometimes we don't see His work right away.  We have great hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and we can know without a shadow of a doubt that He does indeed care for us.

We may feel abandoned, misunderstood, and even looked down upon, but the Lord looks at us as His child.  The Lord understands us more that we understand ourselves and He knows exactly where He wants us.  We can trust that the Lord will lead us to where it is He wants us to go.

The path that we are on may not be easy.  The path can be hard to walk on and dark.  We don't know what dangers may be lurking around the next corner.  We can know that if we are trusting in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior that He will be with us each step of the way throughout life.  We can also take good comfort in knowing that one day when our life's journey comes to an end that the Lord will take us to our new home in Heaven where we will be with Him forever.

There will be tears, pain, and sorrow on the journey we are on throughout life and we don't know what tomorrow holds, but thankfully we can know the One that holds tomorrow and that is the Lord Jesus Christ.  We have great hope in the Lord and we can know that He will never leave us and He will never forsake us.

Lord,
We praise Your Name.
Sometimes the path can seem hard.
Sometimes we feel alone and friendless.
Thank You Lord that You are a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Help us to feed upon Your Word and pour our Your Spirit upon us.
Lead us and guide our steps to be pleasing to You.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen.
